Summary Abstract:	A Soil Survey report (No. 8) of Nueva Ecija Province, Philippines which is likely to be written in 1941. There is mention of a Soil Map (probably at 1:125,000 scale) accompanying the report, but this is not, currently, within the WOSSAC collection. This report forms part of series of reports and accompanying maps produced as result of the Provincial Reconnaissance Soil Surveys undertaken in the Philippines beginning as early as 1936. These reports follow a similar format, with information on morphology, geology, climate, agriculture, cropping, land use, physico-chemical characteristics of soils, soil fertility.
