Summary Abstract:This Paper presents the results of a Sedimentological and Mineralogical Study of representative soils of the Kunene Basin, in Angola. All the soil materials studied were carried and sedimented by the waters of the rivers Cunene, Calonga and Caculuvar. Twenty two soil profiles were studied and 65 soil samples were collected for granulometric, mineralogical & morphoscopic analyses, and for organic matter & carbonates content determinations. The paper is in the Portuguese language, with summaries in English & French.
