| Summary Abstract: | This report, in the Portuguese language, presents the results of an investigation on Phosphate Deposits in the District of Cabinda, in the north-western part of Angola. Six sites containing phosphate deposits were investigated: Cambota, Ueca, Chibuete, Mongo Tando, Chivovo, and Cacata. For each of the deposits the report provide information on their location, work carried-out, nature of the phosphate formation, chemical analyses of representative samples, and notes on the possibilities of economic exploitation/value. The report includes 9 bound map sheets: 1 map at 1:250,000 scale, 5 maps at 1:10,000, and 3 maps at 1:2.500 scale. |
