Supporting the WOSSAC Archive Project
Cranfield University has undertaken the responsibility of securing and holding the unique items contained in the WOSSAC Archive.
Given the important role these materials play in addressing development issues such as reducing rural poverty and combating desertification, we hope to make these materials as widely available as possible. In order to achieve this we have started the long process of cataloguing and indexing all the many, many thousands of items in the archive.
The next step is to scan and capture in electronic format the materials held in the archive and use the Internet as a means to disseminate them. Ultimately paper-based maps can be vector-digitised and made available as GIS files.
Unfortunately these activities all have an associated cost. To help us with this work, we are seeking your support. If you are able to help with this important project please either make a credit card donation below, or contact us.
