The Internet represents a powerful means to present spatial information and offers the ideal means to disseminate the mapping resources held in the Wossac archive. There is a growing movement in Europe and worldwide to adopt standards-based interoperable mapping tools that allow datasets from different sources to be combined and used together. We are exploring these approaches, using Google Maps to portray scanned data.
